Inexpensive Diapers

From an email...
(Thanks Erika)

Do you only use name brand diapers? If not, there is an AWESOME deal at Walgreens. They are buy one get one free and there is a $2.00 off coupon on some of the packages. The scanner takes $2.00 off each (even the free one) so you only pay $5.38 for 2 packs! That is only $2.69 a pack!

The sale is on the Walgreens brand. Some of the packages have a red flyer taped to them. It says something about $50 in savings. If you take the flyer off, there is a diaper coupon in the lower right corner. One coupon will work for 2 packs of diapers ($2.00 off each). I’ve been doing separate orders. I just have the cashier ring 2 packs of diapers and one coupon. The total comes to $5.83. Then I have her do it again. I think the deal runs through Saturday. I’m not sure how many flyers are taped on diapers.

If you ask at the pharmacy for info on Walgreens prescription drug plan, the red sheet of coupons is given as a promo for inquiring about the plan. I bought 4 packs of diapers, one $2 coupon was scanned and $8 was deducted on my receipt.

You might want to check with the manager. The last RX diaper coupon said something about not being combined with other offers. One of the gals on the coupon board I go to has a brother who is a manager - he almost got fired for taking the coupon during sale. (Don't remember if it was the B1G1 sale.)

But different managers have different policies, so you might want to check!
