Q & A

From an email...

Coupon Clipper: I have a question about something in the Rite Aid flyer this week.

There is a coupon for Colgate toothpaste that says right on it “Manufacturer’s coupon. But, printed in the center of the coupon it says “See most Sunday papers for additional coupon savings”.

Am I missing something – I didn’t think you could stack manufacturer’s coupons? I know that you can stack a manufacturer’s coupon with a store coupon, but am I misunderstanding how this one would work? Or, are they just trying to get me to use the coupons in my Sunday paper in some marketing scheme sort of way by getting my attention there?

Me:This is very interesting...

Rite Aid's store coupons say Rite Aid Manufacturer's coupon... you will always find the 'Only Redeemable at Rite Aid' words at the bottom of the coupon... so yes, you may use the Rite Aid store coupon with an additional Sunday paper type coupon.

*One added bit of information: the Rite Aid coupon must be surrendered at the time of purchase (unlike Walgreen's store coupons which can be scanned and returned to you.). If you plan on making more than one transaction with this coupon... pick up additional sale papers when you enter the store. I learned this the hard way- and had to make a mad dash scramble to the entrance to grab more papers... with a baby in tow...

Happy Shopping!!!!
