Coupon Clipper: I have a question about gift cards. I bought a Graco car seat a couple of days ago. This week's Target ad has Graco car seats with a $20 gift card offer. The car seat is still in the box. Do you know if Target would honor the gift card promotion similar to a price adjustment? Could I take in my receipt, or do I have to go through the process of returning it and re-buying?

Me: I think that you'll have to return & re- buy... but, to make it easier, follow these steps:

1. Go to Target w/o your car seat, and purchase a new one... get the $20 GC
2. Take your just purchased (must be identical) car seat to the service desk and return it with your ORIGINAL receipt.

You get the car seat and the $10 GC!
