Well, I guess my title is kind of dramatic... but Oakland County residents will no longer be receiving The Detroit Free Press at a discounted rate of $1 per copy of the Sunday (coupon laden) paper. Our rates will be raised to $1.50 per paper effective next week.
I plan on calling and sharing my price hike (a 50% increase!!!) opinion... feel free to do the same!

I have gotten the Free Press at Sams Club for $.98 I don't drive out of my way for it but maybe in the future! Also, you can get the Farmington Observer for $.75 but they don't always have all the coupons!
My paper is $1.50 on Sundays (MAcomb County) but if you buy it after 12noon, it's only $1. You might want to try that.
