A Success Story!

Coupon Clipper: Thanks to your class, here is what I “bought” this weekend (using a combination of prescription transfer gift cards, manufacturer coupons, printable coupons, and Extra Care Bucks)!

CVS:
6 jumbo packages of Huggies
1 package energizer batteries AAA (8 count)
1 package energizer batteries AA (8 count)
1 package energizer batteries C (4count)
1 package energizer batteries D (4 count)
2 packs of Huggies wipes
2 gallons of nursery water
1 Mylicon infant gas drops
1 box throat coolers
1 Intuition razor
4 bottles Palmolive dish soap
3 Colgate toothpaste tubes
2 L’Oreal Infallible lip glosses
1 bottle of chewable aspirin
1 box of Kotex Tampons

I paid a total of .53 cents for all the above products and I still have $16.00 left on a CVS gift card and $10.98 in CVS extra bucks.

RITE AID:
4 Bayer Blood Glucose Monitors
3 bottles of Bayer Aspirin

I paid a total of $6.33 for the above products. I will get $20 in Rite Aid gift cards in the mail (rebate). Plus since I don’t need the blood glucose monitors, I can donate them to an organization that does.

All in all, I spent $6.86 out of my pocket, but I still have $46.98 in CVS and Rite Aid money! Thanks so much!

Me: Woo Hoo! Small changes in the way you view shopping can make HUGE changes in the way you spend (or don't spend ;)) you money! Nice work!!!
