sorry..so how big is the bag of craisins at Kroger..? I usually buy these at Costco. Thanks!
Oh, sorry! 6oz for $1... that's pretty close to Costco's price for 6oz! So if you just want to spend a couple pf dollars to 'tide you over,' than this week is the week!!!
Laura - I just wanted to take a quick second to thank you for your website. I get overwhelmed by some of the other sites and I welcome the refreshing ease of your information. I read it every day and you keep me motivated to keep spending coupons. Thank you for what you do.
I was just wondering the price comparison between Costco and Kroger's special. I did notice, however, that the $1.00 bags include more unusual 'flavors'(pomegranate, blueberry, etc) so it might be fun. Too bad there aren't any coupons!!
Hi Nicole D.,
I'm so glad that this site is helpful and streamlined for ease in use! I remember feeling overwhelmed when I first began spending coupons!
Here is the cost breakdown for the Craisins:
Costco: 48 oz for $6.89, or roughly $.84/per 6 oz.
Kroger: 6oz for $1.
Obviously, Costco is the better price IF you are willing t make an extra stop and you will eat 48 ounces of Craisins.
BUT, if you'd like to try a new flavor like orange or cherry flavored (I personally don't like the special flavors!), $1/bag is a great price!
