I went to Block's (farm market near Metro airport) today. They have pie pumpkins for 3/$1!!!! They are getting ready to close down for the winter so, hurry if you want a great deal!

I'd sincerely try a batch without the cinnamon, the recipe calls for nutmeg, which is a potent spice- plus the chocolate is just plain yummy in conjunction with the pumpkin flavor... I don't think you'll miss the cinnamon at all!

wonder if I can use olive oil or canola oil instead of vegi oil? and craisins instead of chocolate ( my kid doesnt like chocolate...crazy I know)...might have to try it looks great.
